Dolby Atmos Layouts
Atmos layouts are written as X.Y.Z — floor speakers, subwoofers, and height speakers.
5.1.2 means 5 floor speakers, 1 subwoofer, and 2 height speakers. 7.1.4 adds more surrounds and more heights.
Height speakers are the biggest single upgrade Atmos brings; two properly placed heights make a bigger difference than adding rear surrounds.
